Krešimir Radovčić signs with BC Vienna

BC Vienna has signed Krešimir Radovčić, completing its backcourt for the 2026/27 season. The 29-year-old Croatian international joins from KK Cibona and will wear No. 3 in Vienna.

The 6-foot-5 point guard knows the ABA League well and also brings plenty of international experience. Krešimir Radovčić had been with Cibona since 2020, gradually taking on more responsibility before serving as team captain last season. He capped his final year in Zagreb by winning the Croatian championship. Before joining Cibona, the Šibenik native played for GKK Šibenik, Zabok and Slovenia’s Helios Suns.

BAJIĆ A KEY FACTOR

Radovčić has also proven himself on the international stage. In the FIBA Europe Cup, he averaged 11.8 points, 3.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds, establishing himself as one of his team’s most reliable performers. He was also recently in action for the Croatian national team and was part of the squad for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers just a few weeks ago.

After six years in Zagreb, Radovčić is ready for a new chapter. “Coach Bajić was an important factor in my decision. I was also convinced by the club’s ambitions, the ABA League and the opportunity to compete in Basketball Champions League qualification. Now it’s about improving step by step as a team,” the new signing said.

Head coach Dragan Bajić also highlighted what his new guard brings to the team: “Radovčić has a lot of experience at the point guard position. Defensively, he does his job very reliably, while offensively he can organize our game and also be a scoring threat himself.”
